Technical Due Diligence.

An acquisition, an investment, or a supplier the board is about to bet on. Technical due diligence gives you an independent view of what you are buying before you are committed to it.

Who it is for

Acquirers and investors who need an independent assessment of a target’s technology before a deal closes.

Boards and trustees who want an independent view of a supplier or platform, separate from the supplier’s own account of itself.

Leadership teams inheriting a platform, through a merger or a change of supplier, who need to know what they now own.

What you get

  • An independent view of the platform or supplier: architecture, security, data and the people it depends on
  • Risks ranked by severity and by what they would take to fix
  • The questions to put to the seller or supplier before you commit
  • A written report for the board, plain enough for members who are not technical
Framework / Mission-led and nonprofit organisations

Who holds the keys?

Most of the risk in a church or charity estate is not technical. It is about people: who set things up, who can get back in, and what happens when they move on.

  1. Ownership.Every domain, account and system registered to the organisation, not to a person.
  2. Recovery.A tested way back in when a password, a phone or an inbox is lost.
  3. Continuity.Renewals, payments and suppliers that keep running when someone is away.
  4. The volunteer who leaves. What they hold today, written down, so their goodbye is not an outage.
Price and terms

A fixed outcome, not a day rate.

From £18,000 (about US$24,000), fixed before work starts. Larger or multi-platform targets are scoped. Assess fees are credited against the first Deliver phase if you continue within 90 days.

50% at signature, 25% at midpoint, 25% on delivery. Retainers monthly in advance, three-month minimum. If the price is more than you can commit to, the answer is a smaller first step, not the same work for less. Prices in GBP, plus VAT where applicable; US dollar figures are indicative.

Two sentences is enough: who you are, and what you need to decide. Ben will reply with a short call slot and, where it helps, a written scope.
